I have been a radio engineer since 1977. Since that time I have remained as an engineer within the service wing of radio communications. I did take a break from the industry from 1984 to 1986 when I was employed in the antenna manufacturing industry. This included manufacturing portable, mobile, and base station antennas, duplexers, and cavity filters.
I moved to the UK in 2003 and was employed within the industry until starting my own repair center in 2009. I do flat rate walkie-talkie repairs for two-way radio dealers, individuals, and all sizes of businesses. This is a postal service covering the UK and Europe.
